Its just past lunch. Trying to come up with interesting contrast in lighting and texture between the two cars. This still needs a lot of decoration and finishing but its a good start.
Rethought, or at least reimagined the devil charactar and moved him to a more sculptural form. Its going to be reminiscent of the drivers from the pre-war period.
I had gotten myself into trouble on a shot where I'd used some reference from what turned out to be the Indy500. It turns out that the cars of the period were asymetrical. Now you americans probably know this as fact. But for me it was a revelation and I had to go to Autobooks in Burbank CA to verify. They have a lot of Lotus Indy car models from the early through mid sixties. Sure enough the suspension on the right hand side was longer, and the left hand side was all tucked right up against the car. I guess the left side was the weighted side and the right side is the stability side that crawled up the banked curve.
